"The scandal of clergy abusing minors and vulnerable adults has overwhelmed the Catholic Church and its mission to preach the Gospel, said the Vatican secretary of state.
"It is not easy to say, because this scandal of clerical sexual abuse has really affected and continues to affect us -- everybody -- and it has a devastating effect on the life and on the witness the church is going to give to the world," said Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

" For my part — and I know I am not alone — I am tired of this. I am tired of people being hurt, gravely hurt! I am tired of the obfuscation of truth. I am tired of sin. And, as one who has tried — despite my many imperfections — to lay down my life for Christ and His Church, I am tired of the regular violation of sacred duties by those entrusted with immense responsibility from the Lord for the care of His people." Bishop Robert C. Morlino

"I have been shaken to the core of my soul over them," Archbishop Sample wrote in the five-page letter, which includes a call for renewed care of victims, reinvigorated prayer life among priests and an outside lay-run investigative body. Archbishop Sample also said that bishops should be held to the same standards as priests.

I, us, we.  That seems to be what every letter, commentary, article regarding the evils being exposed in the Church focus on.  I.  Us.  We.  What is lacking in them all?  Isn't it humble and righteous to acknowledge evil and be shocked to the core about it?  It can be. But, what has plagued the Church for quite some time, and is simply being exposed by this scandal, is the fact that the Church has nearly omitted GOD the Father entirely from it's existence.  In all of these articles, letters of condemnation, letters of shock and dismay, there is no mention of how horribly OFFENDED GOD MUST BE.    How WE, I, US have offended GOD the Father.  There is no Fear of the Lord any longer in the Church. It's what has led to this grotesque behavior by priests and others.

In all honesty, if you believe in God you have some sort of acknowledgement of His Presence over you and your actions throughout the day.  You should anyways.  Being mindful of God and His Power throughout your day is intended to keep you from heinous, sinful acts.  The actions of many in the Church apparently were done with the idea that no one saw them.  No-one knew about them.  They could all be done in secret.  If the sin was exposed, there was no fear of punishment from authority in the Church.  Certainly there was absolutely no fear of punishment from God.  I can surmise from this that there was no belief, trust, faith or love and fear of God in these men who became priests and worked as priests in the Church.

This has become a prideful arrogance in the Church.  To remove God the Father and replace Him with an erroneous image of Jesus and a false gospel.  To promote a false and cheap mercy and lull everyone into a false sense of security in their salvation. To promote the idea that we are loved so much that we can do no wrong.  If wrong is done, then no worries! Mercy! Jesus is so very merciful you don't even need to confess your sins to Him any longer!  It's just there!  Go out and be kind to one another! Be merciful! Be loving! Be Jesus!  Apparently, that's what everyone has been doing.  Being the false Jesus that has been promoted and taught.  It's all about We, I, Us!  Community!!
Frankly, they teach the same things in public schools, and that's what the Mass has nearly become.

I believe God is ready to show us exactly who He is.  I believe we will all be trembling.  I can't wait.
We need the Fear of the Lord that Peter, James, and John experienced on Mount Tabor when Jesus transfigured in their midst. We need to shake in our boots and fall on our faces in awe and reverence for God the Father and Jesus once again.  No amount of rules, regulations, reform, legalities are going to change the corrupt nature in the Church.  It will, and must come from God the Father.  He alone can bring about the true repentance and sorrow that is truly needed.  The shallow, worldly responses thus far to the evil in the Church will do nothing.  We need God to remind us who and what we are. and if an expression of His Holy Anger is what is called for, then by all means He Will Do It.

To those who are trying desperately to paint this in a merciful light, and promoting peace and healing now that the truth was revealed, stop.  There is a time and season for all things, and the season of Mercy is now changing into the Season of Justice.  To promote a false peace is wrong and untruthful.

A Complaint from the Lord

"As though I must win the approval of sinners.  They are promoting a false Christ to do so.  I do not need the approval of my creation...
